Arsenal youngster picks up another ankle injury.

Dan Crowley announced himself to Arsenal fans when he played a role in all six of Arsenal’s goals against Peterborough in the FA Youth Cup, scoring two and assisting in the other four but the midfielder has picked up another injury and he doesn’t seem too pleased about it.

Tweeting earlier to say ‘injured again,‘ Jack Wilshere tweeted him back to ask him what had happened.

This is their conversation:

dan crowleyCrowley was playing for the u-21’s on Wednesday night as they were defeated by Middlesbrough 3-1 but was substituted after 60 minutes in what was his first competitive start for the under-21’s.

There is no mention on about the injury yet and the match report from the game does not even mention him being subbed off.

We can only hope that it’s not too serious and that it is not a recurrence of the injury which kept him out of action earlier in the season.
