The Dennis Bergkamp statue has finally been finished!
It has been a long time coming, but Arsenal are set to unveil their latest statue – a tribute to the legend that is Dennis Bergkamp – before the game against Sunderland which will take place at the Emirates later this month.
Although the finished statue is being kept underwraps, the image below was ‘leaked’ a little under a year ago. As you can see, it is certainly an iconic Dennis moment which would fit with the poses selected for the statues of Tony Adams and Thierry Henry which are already outside the ground.
Bergkamp will be present for the unveiling and the ceremony is set to take place at 11.30am with Dennis also making an appearance on the pitch at half-time.
Spending 11 years with Arsenal, the statue is long overdue.
