Arsenal striker Olivier Giroud has signed a new deal with the Danish brewery Carlsberg which will see him endorse the product.
The Frenchman, who signed for Arsenal in 2012, will join the likes of Frank Lampard, Steven Gerrard and Sergio Aguero on the packaging of Carlsberg’s multi-pack beers. The deal is said to be part of a move by the brewery to support it’s current three-year deal as the official beer of the Premier League.
Top scorer for Arsenal this season, both on and off the pitch [boom], the partnership ties him in with the company who are also the official beer of the club although that deal has entered the final year of the three-year agreement.
There have been no financial details released regarding this agreement, nor has the length of the deal been announced.
Olivier Giroud was a late second half substitute for Arsenal as they beat Liverpool 2-1 on Sunday afternoon to progress to the quarter-finals of the FA Cup where there will play Everton at the Emirates.
