The Colombian edition of Marca are today running a massive story on their front page linking Arsenal with a move for goalkeeper David Ospina.

Unfortunately I’ve been unable to locate the actual article online as of yet, but the comments on the front page suggest that he ‘could’ be heading to Arsenal after Wenger watched him in the Maracana on Saturday night.

Of course, Wenger is on commentary duty for a French TV channel so could have just been there in that capacity although it is no secret that Arsenal are on the lookout for at least one keeper.

Ospina has been in France with Nice since 2008 and the 25-year-old is now out of contract and seeking a new club.

Free. Arsene loves free.

He was linked in a French paper last month too. Seems to be something in it, though i’m sure both Ospina and Ochoa will have plenty of offers this Summer, with many clubs offering guaranteed #1 status. Depends on whether he’s willing to fight for his spot at a top club, I guess.

If he wants PL wages and a chance to play at a top club in the CL then he will really consider Arsenal if they come calling.
My biggest concern is there is no movement for Sagna replacement, or at least that we know of.
I am hoping we pick up Aurier as I feel he has all the tools to be a great player and loads of speed too!
